After the birth of my own daughter and transition into early motherhood, I became passionate about cultivating a positive experience for all parents during such a vulnerable stage.  I became a doula to help parents navigate and express their desires and needs during labor, along with feeling confident in their parenting choices once they bring their baby home.

Originally from Raleigh, NC, I’ve lived in NYC since 2006 and currently reside in Battery Park City.  I’ve been working in television and film as an actor during my time here in NYC.  You may have seen me giving birth on an episode of “Bull” on CBS!  I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from East Carolina University.  I also have a background in hospitality- specifically restaurant management, where I met my husband, Kevin, who owns L’Artusi restaurant in the West Village.  Together, we have a daughter, Maisie, who is the joy of our lives.  Throughout 2020, I volunteered as an advocate for sexual assault survivors through Mount Sinai Beth Israel.  It was this experience that gave me a greater yearning to help people while they advocate for themselves, which ultimately led to my decision to become a doula.

It is an honor to be able to guide you in the early stages of your parenthood and to provide non-judgmental support in your choices.
